New die

This is the new car die from Tim Holtz when I saw it I just had to have it. You know what it is like girls. Well I am pleased I got it as I love it. The cog stamps are from Stamp Attack and the cog die is another of Tim's. I am trying to make flatter cards for the post as you all know postage is going up again. Before long we ain't gonna be able to send anything, it will be too expensive. Lets be honest we all love our Birthdays more when we get lots of cards. I must admit I look forward to mine more, (even though I am getting old) since I joined KC Yahoo group as it is great to get all those extra cards

  1. Dot, I get where you are coming from as the cost to post items is sooooo expensive. I draw a sharp intake of breath when I visit the P.O. lol
I love embellishments, lace, buttons etc but even I am starting to consider the type of cards I make.
so back to your card - I can see why you'd want this die and it must solve all the male birthdays you make for.
K.C.U.K. certainly do make birthdays that extra bit special.

  2. That's a great die, Dot - certainly should be a useful one. The cog things you've used with it work really well.

  3. Looks good, Dot. Great for men's cards. Know what you mean about postage, too - you wanna try sending stuff to New Zealand! Costs an arm and a leg.

  4. I have resisted this die - until now - you've got me thinking!
Love how you have used it with those cogs and wheels behind and "enjoy the journey" is so perfect. A super card for a man or older teenager and so many uses as well as for birthdays. Mmmm... Dot.
