First go with grunge paper

Well have had a go with the grunge paper, must admit if I had known how it ponged might not of bought it. I wanted to make flowers with it, well not bad I suppose for a first try but the colours in the body part aren't as strong as I would of liked

Gate cards

This is the gate card open, the little girl is from Suger Nellie, I think she is lovely. the other one is with the gate closed, I got the template for the gate from crafts you love.

The foar one is made with a tamplate I made as I wanted a smaller gate, so had to adapt the larger one but did not turn out bad

Eldest Son's card

Well have made this today, as I said before with Jasons card had to adapt this as you can only buy set words like Mum Dad Happy Birthday and so on, so what I did was a search for a alphabet I could use as template. Resized to the height I wanted and printed them off, now I can do any name I like or word. I am not brill at explaining as you know but will try. Cut your letters out then take the first letter of the word you are doing and cut a piece of card to the height of the letter. Trace round the letter, then decide how much card you want left at the side of the letter, then cut your card. trim round the front half of your letter. Next trace round your next letter and trim round the front of the letter again, then put it up to your first letter, leaving so much showing in front of the first letter. Then cut off level with your first letter, carry on doing this till you have made your word, then you are ready to decorate.

As you know this year is year of the tiger and this is my version, me is thinking might be a good theme for next months ATC swap

KC ATC swap

This is my ATC for the Feb swap, the theme is numbers, the background has numbers stamped on, used this stamp as it has one man band on it and that fell in nicely with the theme

Grandson Ross's birthday card

Why is it when you think something is going to be simple it turns out taking you ages, well decided I would make an action card for one of my Grandsons and this is what I ended up with, it is in three steps and actually should of had the figures the other way round but never mind learn by your mistakes as they say. The football is attached with acetate so it looks like it is in the air in real life, there is a goalie in the net but you can't see him on this picture any how just thought I would share

KC deco swap

Have just posted my first 2 pages off to Angela, her theme is fun and nonsense, do hope she likes these. They where fun to do I love this funky bear, he is from Viv las Vegas, the chicken I love, have a few of these and they make a great funny card

One of my new stamps

Give you one guess who this is, made this very fast last night, as had to try it out .Embossed it in disco black so it is nice and sparkly. Got the image from Stampingback, they have some great stamps and are very good on postage costs too

KC January swap

We did postage stamps for this swap, but being a stamping group we have to stamp too, anyhow I was lucky that I had some rubber stamps to match my postage stamps and this is what I came up with

ATC swap

Made these for a swap I was in, am in the fun mood at the mo, just hope my partner liked them.

The blue one was for another swap and for the fist time I had a go at putting applique on with a sponge then heating it with the heat gun, didn't turn out too bad. Think I might use that again
