Love these South Western images from I brake for stamp, the bear is from there and so are the background stamps of a shield and the moccasin's. I got quite a few out of Della's sale so there will be some more appearing soon
That is the challenge on KC this month, so here is my card, anyone who knows me knows I have a strange sense of humour. I got this stamp off my Sister of the heart on KC and it is amazing how much alike we are. I could think of some class sayings to put with this but thought I had better keep it cool as might get banned.
Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and have a brill New Year
Well who would of thought we would have a white Christmas, that is as long as it doesn't all disappearbefore morning. Just want to wish you all Happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year and hope you all make lots of crafty things next year.
Wanna laugh, hubby said he was going for a card for me, anyhow told him not to bother as the shops near us are rubbish. I said I will make one then i will get some thing I like. Love Micky mouse so I come up with this. Know I am passed my prime but does not stop you being young at heart and I am he he
These are what I did for the ATC swap, just could not resist using this Elvis stamp as it is a snow scene. Of cause there had to be a bird there too as I am quite like to them as you know
Love this little Disney stamp and it fits very nicely on this diamond card, should really of photographed this card so you can see properly how it stands but sure you can get the jist of it.
These are another two pages I did for Lynnes deco, her theme was an artists life. must admit had to think about these but am pleased to say she liked them
Have just treat myself to this pair of punches and must admit I like them, very easy to use. This is my first try and did not turn out bad I don't think. They do a fab cobweb one, me thinks this is going to be a must have
This is the page I did for a skinny book swap in memory of a lovely lady. We had to do 38 pages, which I must admit frightened me a bit but once I got into them, it wasn't so bad.
I got the letter T so thought I would do true love, it started as an alphabet swap but so many wanted to join in they did the seasons and some friendship pages too
I am quite pleased with this and that is unusual for me, the holly is printed but I cut it all out, the little girl image my friend Mary sent me and I coloured with my pro markers and the Dalmatian is Disney of coarse. Had this a long while but first time I have used it and now I have I like it. Am a big kid at heart as still love the Disney characters they are so magical
I am fed up with doing straight forward cards so have been experimenting with different shapes and like these. Have made a few at different sizes and have enjoyed doing them
This card is for the grandchildren done with the Crafters companion cd and stamps. The Santa is a sugar Nellie I think. Got to be honest I like these backgrounds you can print but it does not make an easy card as by the time you have stamped and coloured the images then cut them all out, it takes quite a bit of time but I like the result and the kids love them. After all Christmas is for the kids. Well I think so
Haven't been posting much lately sorry but the cards I have been making needed photographing and seeing I still have not found my camera, I have had to go and buy a new one.
The background is done off a Crafters companion CD but I thought some of my Sugar Nellie's stamps would work with it and I think they look OK. Hope you do too. The little girl does so remind me of my Granddaughter
Made this ATC for my SOTH ( sister of the heart) Darlene, she lives in Canada and I am pleased to say she liked it. SOTH means we send each other a little pressie once a month and E mail each other. I have really enjoyed getting to know Darlene and her sense of humour is soooooooooo much like mine I am pleased to say,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Know I have not been on for ages, it has just been mad here. Anyhow I thought I better get something uploaded, so here is my ATC's I have done for a swap called riot of colour
Darlene bought me this stamp and the small bird too so I thought I should make her a card with it. I used the pro markers to colour it I am getting quite used to them, very easy to use but have not cracked shading with them yet, am trying though
Doing a monthly challenge on KC and this month it is to make something out of the mess we make when we are making backgrounds or whatever. We are all good at making a mess and sometimes it is a shame to bin it when you can makes something out of it. Any how hope you like what I have done
Have just made this for Fred, I know he will like it, can't do sloppy. Blimey 31 years on Wednesday, where have those years gone does not seem 3 year never mind 31
These are my effort for the resist, unfortunately it does not show up well on the scan . We had to make a card and a bookmark, the figure stamps are paper artsy and the trees and flowers are Elusive images
This is my first Christmas card for this year, it is not a Christmas stamp but thought it would look nice as a christmas card, the lady stamp is from stamattack, I would of uploaded sooner but been a bit off so am slow at the mo. Anyhow a lot better now so will get back to normal
This was done for a challenge on one of the groups I am on, it is were you scrunch up wax paper then IRON ( forbidden word) onto glossy card stock then go over it with inks, you can get some really good effects with this. Was the first time I had done it and was quite pleased as I did it right for once
Surprise surprise, I have got a new stamp, isn't she lovely. Have stamped her on a alcohol ink background, which doesn't look too bad. The stamp is from Stampattack, fell in love with her as soon as I saw her.
These are cards I made for a challenge, well 2 challenges really one was the star challenge and the other serendipity, so have to admit I cheated and combined the two, the other card is what I made with bits left over from the first one and most likely have enough for yet another card.
I had forgot how good using your scraps could look it is so long since I had done this
Just made this for my Nephew, it is his birthday today. I always struggle for men cards unless it is my Hubby can make him a cheeky one as he doesn't mind. The stamp is from I brakeforstamps, love her images of the cowboys and the Indians, sounds like a movie. Can't get on as often as I would like as it is school hol's I seem as if I am always minding the Grandkids, love them to bits but too tired for crafting when they have gone. Well that is my excuse and am sticking to it
I had a tag published in Rubber Stamp Madness and these plus some others were a gift from Della at I Brake for stamps. I was so chuffed to get published as never done anything like this before.
Anyhow made this today from 2 of the stamps hope you like it
This was a challenge layout done for OSA group, must admit it took me a while to do. Well it is my second atempt, first one was rubbish. Any how I just stuck to blue and white to make it a bit easier, hope some of you like it
Just got this CD and must admit I love it, it is backgrounds but a lot more besides, so when I can't get the effect I want I can print it. The stamp is a sugar nellie and I have coloured it with my Promarkers, still getting used to them I have always used felt tips. Love the way they blend together
Wish I could spell, anyway made this card out of something my daughter was putting in the bin. The hand made paper and you know me hate to waste, The centre image is mounted on silver mirrow board but it never show up on a scan does it. The stamp was a gift from a dear friend. I think the company is artistic outpost, there are some nice bird stamps on the plate too
I made this for a friends birthday, can upload it now as she has got it, her favourite colour is blue, so this is what I come up with. I am pleased to say she liked it, can't remember where I got the Betty boop stamps. The cake is Magnolia and the background stam is I brakeforstamps, the words are stamping up I think
Love these colours together, the scan is not brill, but never mind. The stamps used are Judikins and the background is shaving foam which I have never tried before and must admit I like the effect.
The scan does not show this card great as it is very shimmery, I made it at a friends shop when I was on holiday at another friends and it was easy to make but just looks lovely I think anyway. We stamped in versamark then brushed shimmer dust over. then made the butterfly seperate and attached it to the ribbon.
Not a brill photo, but here is my finished deco, a swap I organise on Katy's Corner, I love doing this swap, as you get fab work off different people each time and they are lovely to keep
Well I finally got round to finishing this card, been going to do it all week. I hope you like it, the image is from Elusive images and the background is encostic art. Hope I have spelt that right as there is no spell checker on here and I am the worlds worst speller
Have done this very quick tonight as just wanted to see what it looked like, a friend of mine designed this stamp and I think she is so clever. Wish I could draw. Anyhow well done Jo and to Caz for making it into rubber
These are done with some shimmer paints I bought (boobed as were not what I thought) but spread some on a card and spritz it with water then put the other one over the top and swizzled it about and this is what I got. Don't think it turnrd out too bad
The birds, well the fist one is Tim Holtz and the other is Elusive images
I love stamping but must admit I like a mixed bundle of stamps. I would say my faves are African American Indian and Asian. Saying that I like funny, fairy's wizards and bears, also like grundge
