Brown and cream

Just love this combination, finally got a bit of stamping done without feeling it was an effort, maybe my mojo is coming back. I bought these 2 stamps last October at Port Sunny off stamp camp and have just used them for the first time.Should of got them out earlier as they stamp gorgeous with no effort and don't need anything adding to them as I think they look good just the way they are. Anyhow hope you agree.

Poppies

Love this stamp and took me ages to find it as it was discontinued, when I finally got it was mounted upside down,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Anyhow the oval in the middle was some scratch card as Cath calls it, I had tried colouring with those pens where you colour the stamp to see how it would look. Then of coarse had used it as scrap anyhow managed to salvage it and make a card out of it. Don't think it turned out too bad

Shaving foam backgrounds

Well feel a bit better today, managed to make a few cards with some shaving foam backgrounds I had. This is a few of them. Really needed a few in hand for when you want a card in a hurry. You never know when something is going to come up. I have decide it is time I started using my stash in stead of just looking at it, no one else will love it like me.

My Auntie bless her was over the moon as her Grandson brought her a stash of card making stuff that he was told to skip when clearing a house, she is 82 and loves making cards, she reckons there was 4 to 5 hundred pounds worth there. How could anyone put that in a skip. Dread to think what would happen to my stuff if I went. Anyhow that is enough of that as it did find a good home no one deserves it better than my Auntie she is lovely

Mojos gone on holiday

Well sorry I have not posted for a few days, I think my mojo has gone back to Liverpool. I am forcing myself here as need some birthday cards made also have not sent a couple of cards out I meant too so must get cracking. I managed this one yesterday and have made a couple today just need finishing touches. So am hoping I am getting back to normal. Have new stamps to play with and not even had the energy for that.
It is red hot here I am amazed as we normally don't get it as hot as we are right near the sea, can't remember the last time it was this hot in May

Time flys

I don't know where the last couple of months has gone, I have forgot birthdays and am way behind with cards, will have to shape up. Have had too make some cards post haste as must make a great Nieces card tomorrow for Tuesday, another one I forgot. Shame on me.

I think my brain is still on holiday, only my body came back. Hopeless no other word for me. Any how here is what I have come up with yesterday and today

Latest purchase swap

Can upload this now as Ann has got it. We had to make something with something we had just bought, or something we had not played with for ages. Well I chose to make this wall hanging with a new Tim Holtz die I had just bought. The bottom has a little pouch in so you can put odds and ends in. I am pleased to say Ann liked it

Port Sunny

Well loved meeting up with some of my friends at P/S and had a great natter, only see them 2 a year so always a happy time when we get together. Of coarse manage to spend quite a bit even though it did not look a lot for my money. He ho what's new. Had a wonderful week with Sylvia and we had some good laughs

These are some ATC's I have done for a swap, love these little bunny's the theme was spring, love to see the bunnies running around in the fields, mind it is a while since I was out and about that early. When I used to show dogs we often seen them when we where on our way to a show

Hello

Just popping in to say hello, no pictures to upload as have just been relaxing here at Sylvia's. Those that know me know I am visiting a friend for a week. We will be going to Port Sunlight craft show on Saturday, really looking forward to that as will be meeting up with friends I only see once or twice a year. Will let you know what new goodies I buy after I have been, will try and not spend too much He he. Bye for now

KC challenges

This will be last post for a week as off to stay with a friend tomorrow and hopefully meeting up with some of the girls at Port Sunny at the weekend.

This is my first challenge for KC which is a sketch challenge, I got the stamp given off AAA and it is a cracking little stamp you can do all sorts with it.

My second challenge was do a tag, you could do anything as long as it was stamped, so did this, background done with some of my new distress inks, fab colours and my tiger stamp is from Onyx expressions. Mind don't know how you spell it, hope it is right as spellchecker told me how to spell it

Port Sunny not long now

Just a selection , not all of them. Love ATC's and love to trade, not so brill at walking round these shows now so enjoy when we all meet up from KC and can have a chat. Lovely to meet up with friends that you only get to see once or twice a year. There never seems enough time to have a big long natter
