No laughing please

 Have been playing at trying to do some jewelry, above is my first attempt which I am not happy with at all, like the style but not my mix of beads.
Below is my second attempt which I like better and must admit was chuffed to make the big bobbley bead at the bottom, I am learning too thread with wire as quite like the effect

 Below is my second and third attempt on a loom, I am pleased with these but must learn how to finish them off neater, does anyone out there know how to do it please. Would love to hear from you if you do

 These 2 below are done on memory wire which really are easy to do as you just have to thread the beads on

 The two below, well one is adding charms on a chain which is not bad and do like the other one as made beaded leaves and put a piece of jade between. Sorry the photo isn't very good, the beaded bracelet is pink and lilac

 The next one below is for my Sue as she loves butterfly's so is is black glass bead triangles with butterfly beads between

 The last one below have made for a raffle as we need to raise some money for limos to give some special young adults a treat, have made this one with opal chips and opalite beads and the blue stones are semi precious but forgot what they are called, typical of me. Have put a real silver catch on and made some earnings to go with it with silver wires, just hope they think it is OK for the raffle. Whew !!!!!! that is the longest post I think I have ever done. This and that

 Sorry not posted for a while Folks, here are a couple of pieces I have made recently. Firstly I was asked to make this album by my daughter in law for a new baby, she picked the paper for the covers. Anyhow am pleased to say she loves it

I love this rabbit and this Artistic diva on the card above, made the card above for Jo for her Birthday, thought this would suit her as she is very artistic, always creating something, I hope she liked it. The rabbit one went to another friend, we seem to have quite a few birthdays this month. Will try and upload some more soon. Thank you for looking

Mingle and swap

 I am doing a image mingle, were you get sent 6 images off someone then you have to choose one and make a card with it and send to your partner. Well I just loved this bird, so I went for it, my partner has received it and am pleased to say she likes it, so I can upload it now.

Some thing a little different

 I have been doing a little voluntary work with some young adults with learning difficulties. Anyhow the wanted to do some scrap-booking, so I said you can make your own. Well I cut them out ready for them but they put them together and decorated the fronts, one or two needed a little help but most done nearly all the work themselves. Didn't they do well, they were so proud when they finished and I was really proud of them too. It just goes to show what can be achieved with a little encouragement. We are now busy decorating the pages, must admit it is fun seeing what they want in, we are doing a mixture of what they love most and photo's

Card and 2 deco pages

 I do love this image, I did use it on the front of my 2011 deco but have made a couple of cards with it also. The backing paper my SOTH Darlene sent me and I love it, feels like parchment and the image is from Stamp attack as you know

Above and below are the deco pages I did for Nora, her theme was spring and must admit I do not have a lot of flower stamps. I love making paper flowers but not keen on colouring stamped flowers, don't ask me why, just the way I am. Anyhow am pleased to say Nora liked them so that was ok. I love the rabbit forgot where he is from, I am useless. The hedgehog is Penny black and the Tulip below is from Creative Chaos. I think I brake for stamps sells them now

My last 2 chuncky book pages

These where hard work, well Y was, anyhow after a lot of thinking about I decided on Y for Ye Old Arms pub. Stamps are by Creative Expression and there are lots of other stamps on there to build a  scene but they are only 4 x 4 pages so that is all there was room for

Of coarse I had to do Z for Zulu as African is one of my fav's and don't get chance these days to do much African. It is a glimmery background but does not show up on the scan, I am sorry don't know who does the Zulu stamp as had him given

Hazels deco pages

Can upload these now as Hazel has received them and am so pleased she likes them, her theme is black and white and although you can't see it on the scan I sprayed them with iridescent spray to give them a bit of a shine. Use that new card from Crafters companion that you can sand after you have embossed it, I like it very affective

No pictures

Have had PC probs and lost all my scans, so till I do some more cards have nothing to show but am glad to be back and just hope things will stay as they are now and no more probs

Have had a play

I have managed to have a play for myself, with one of my fav themes. Got these fab stamps off my Sister of the heart Darlene and love them. Made some shimmer backgrounds and stamped over them, was a bit lazy but love those colours

 The Elephant one have masked the Elephant so it looks more like a herd on the move, don't think it looks that bad even though I say so myself. I enjoyed doing it and that is all that matters

Well just love these little Meercats, they are so cheeky

My V W and X book pages

Well as you know I like to be different so here is my V page, Vulcher love this stamp you can put some right quirky sayings with it. The company it is from closed down I am sure

 W for Wolf isn't this stamp gorgeous, I got it off Aunty Mary for my Birthday, I think it is Onyx Expressions as it is black rubber. Must admit it took no colouring it is so fab and I went mad and did a shrink plastic wolf head am always scared of shrink don't know why it was quite easy

 X well what can I say, what can you do for X could only think of Xmas, anyhow came up with this, just hope it passes the census if not Chris will have to send it back to me. I don't mind cos I like it

Kims cards

Well it is my youngest Daughters birthday tomorrow, she is 30 yikes where have the years gone. Anyhow she is now Tinkerbell mad so that is what I have made her

The one below I made for my Son to give her, well there is one thing I am sure of she is going to like her cards. The big roses I made and the other flowers are from my stash. Love the new punch I have just got below another Mather Stewart one. The images are colouring images off the nett

Deco pages and Loom work

 I have even had a go on my loom, only had it about 7yrs and it has just come out the box. I am stuck now as it does not tell you how to finish off so am thinking about how to do it. Oh and by the way guess who started at the wrong end..........................................

Well some of you asked to see more of my deco book, so have added the pages I have received, photo's not brill but will give you the gist of it. You may remember I told you I boobed on the size of my pages ( what's new) but being the first time I have made one of these books was making sure they would not be too small. Anyhow I have made the extra work for me and put the persons name on of who made the pages, so hopefully now does not look odd. I have edged all the pages with my gold Krylon pen

My deco book

I am so chuffed I have made my deco book from the one Susie Jefferson had in Craft Stamper. Not perfect but am pleased as my first go, got the page sizes wrong but what do you expect from me. I have manage to sort them out though so I did not have to start again and not dead straight but those that know me know I can't do straight. Anyhow hope some of you like it

My theme is black red and gold Asian but unfortunately I did not have a piece of washi big enough for the front and back cover, so used this fab piece I got off my friend Darlene

Artistic goddess

 Have made Elly (Granddaughter) another card, above give the other one to my Daughter to give her so she will still get it. Elly is very arty too and is doing art and textiles at collage so i thought this stamp would suit her very well for her card

The ATC's above are what I have done for Marches KC swap, as it was anything goes thought I would try some of my THoltz goodies I bought not so long ago and the butterfly stamp is off my friend Darlene

Summer breeze

 The above card is made from a lovely little image my friend sent me, sorry I don't know who it is by. Looking at it I should of laid her down better but saying that when do I ever get anything right Lol

This card above is for my Granddaughter, have not put her name on yet, blimey she is 16 this month how the time has flown. I know these images aren't stamped but I love them. They are from Debbie Moore designs

What can I make with this

Well you know these adverts for different company's you get through the door and as you pick them up you are cursing thinking more junk mail straight in the recycle. Well put this one on the table and thought, good template that. See below

Anyhow, I had a go, traced round the outline on card then cut it out. Then I went round the heart shapes with a embossing tool and cut them out and stuck them on the card and decorated it a bit. Not a fabulous card but was just a trial to see how it would look and you can see it below

It will work, just have to try something different next time, made this one for my Sue and she will like it but not really my taste

New die

This is the new car die from Tim Holtz when I saw it I just had to have it. You know what it is like girls. Well I am pleased I got it as I love it. The cog stamps are from Stamp Attack and the cog die is another of Tim's. I am trying to make flatter cards for the post as you all know postage is going up again. Before long we ain't gonna be able to send anything, it will be too expensive. Lets be honest we all love our Birthdays more when we get lots of cards. I must admit I look forward to mine more, (even though I am getting old) since I joined KC Yahoo group as it is great to get all those extra cards

 Made the above card for a good friend for her birthday and am pleased to say she liked it. It is a shimmer background and the stamps are Elusive images

Isn't he great, I love this stamp, well you know what I am like it is a Viva las Veges. coloured with pro markers. Love the saying too but cheated with the background as it was ready printed
