Mixture

This is 3 different stamps, the figures are one and the branch another lastly the building, all from AAA in the USA. I did the background with distress inks and stamped with  black Visa-fine and clear embossed
This poppy stamp is one of my favourite poppy stamps designed by Wendy Brown for Simply stamps, it is so easy to colour and always looks good, background again with distress inks and of coarse cut out with Spellbinders. I made the bow on one of those little gadgets with the two pieces of dowelling on and you tie the ribbon round it and low and behold it went through the 5m slot so only cost me the ordinary stamp
These are my ATC's for KC January swap, love this little fellow. One is stamped on the card and the other on acetate, stamp from the Artistic stamper

Jan and Feb KC challenge

Above is my February KC challenge, each month Cath sets us a challenge and we make a card and upload to the group. This month you put felt tip on a acrylic block and spritz with water, I used perfect pearls spray to spritz. Then you turn your mount over and stamp it on the card. When dry you stamp with your choice of stamps. I used stamp camp bird stamp and Hero Arts word stamp
Above is my January challenge which was what winter means to you. Well snow is what I think of and we have plenty of it today. This is an About Art Accents stamp

Kaitlynns journal

Been talking about journeyling and remembered I made this for Kaitlynn at Christmas, she had seen me making a friend of mine an address book and she loved it as it was Alice in wonderland. Must say it was done on the PC but she doe's love it
Some pages I left plain apart from a small picture in the corner, the the others I printed are for inserts in cards, printed them on a thicker paper so she could write and draw on them and basically do her own thing
Puts lots of ribbons on the wires and there you go transformed to a journal, well she is happy with it and that is all that matters isn't it

A good fined

Well isn't it good when you do your craft room out, you find all sorts you had forgot about and things you couldn't find of course. Found this sheet of stamps I bought off the Stamp Smith yonks ago, hadn't ever used them. If I remember rightly I had got miffed as could not get a good image off some others I had, so had give up. Anyhow thought I will get my Brilliance stamp pads out and have a go and I am rather pleased,  especially with the one above.
Below is Sophie Loren she is lovely isn't she, I might be brave with the next lot and try stamping them in black and colouring them ...........................
Anyway am pleased with these two and just hope my Brilliance black stamps as well

Happy New year even though it is late

Well if you wonder why I have not been on, you can see by the pictures why............ Like a fool decided to revamp my craft room. By did it need it, above is my desk before and below after, even though it still does not look pristine at least now I have room to work, before I was on about a 6" space
Below is part of my old storage, for my Birthday i always ask everyone for money and I decided to by new storage for my stamps and card
I did hope I would not need anything on the floor anymore, but what a fool I was, even though I have got rid of loads of stuff I still have not got room for everything, still have bags in the front room need sorting but I am so tired I am now having a break. Below are my new units, they are for kids toys got them at Ikea, I love them but still not enough. Got 6 units and there are 36 draws 17 have stamps in one with inks and the rest have card ribbons bellies and all sorts in think I could fill another 18 easily. Anyhow hopefully now I will be able to get back to a bit of creating. Thanks for looking. Wonder how long it will stay tidy he he
Those units in the middle are some of my old ones, have had too keep some

Playing around

Have been playing about making flowers again, I quite like these with the clock face on. Well I got my  large and medium  wood-ware punches out and punched some of both from some fawn thick paper. Then I stamped the clock faces on in black Memento and rubbed some aged Mahogany distress ink on the petals. then I crumpled them up to make them look aged. Finally put a small flower inside the larger one and put a brad in the center. I like the outcome, think I will try some more with different colour card
Above is a new stamp I bought from Debbie Moore, I think I could of coloured her face a bit better but there you go. Used Mather Stewart punch down the side forgot who the corner punch is but love this punch and of coarse a die cut for the sentiment.
Should be getting ready for Christmas but like a fool started sorting out my ums, took me ages to do and of coarse made a bigger mess while doing it, so will have to sort that now, hi ho,,,,,,,,,,

Steam punk and Christmas

Think it is steam-punk, anyway found these stamps the other day, only had them about two years and no ink have they seen. They are Paperartsy. Well the flowers and bird cage are, the background is a Artistic stamper stamp, quit enjoyed doing it, is a change from Christmas, which takes to to the card below.
A very good friend sent me this stamp, don't know who it's by but she is cute, below is done with an image the same friend sent me. I like this it is two cute Penguins

So will do some more when I find my gun

Squeezie cards

Thought I would do something different this year for the family, so have made them all squeezie cards, well that is what they call them. I know they aren't stamped but they are a bit different.
Stamping may of been easier, as there are 6 layers to each card and they all have to be straight ( say's she who couldn't do straight to save her life ) but they supposed to lay flat in the envy. We will see
Did the adults Robins and the kids Santa's, below is a side view so you can see the layers
Finally below is a tunnel card, I just love these wolves. It is a Peerless design, did you know the lady paints all the pictures on her CD's wish I was that clever

Below is another image from the same plate, well the deer is, the tree is a brush strokes Penny Black. Very Quick card and flat for the post. I feel mean but am trying to do some cards that will go though the 5mil slot, as I post quite a lot of cards at Christmas and the stamps are getting ridiculousness

No stamping today

Apart from the greetings.Above and below is Happy Birthday to my Sis Joan, I did not know which one to give her so she is getting both. These are the cards she loves so you have to aim to please. The above is a Debbie Moor design and below is a my Craft Studio. This one below is based on the 60's and the girl just reminds me of my Sis and the man with his leathers is like one of the boys she used to know. So as it says Memories..............................
Below is Suzies boyfriend Davids card, yes it is his birthday today too and am hoping this will give him a laugh, another my Craft studio. For those who don't know you get a brill grafics program  with there cd's

Happy birthday Chessie

Just could not resist making Pat this card, I think it would fit most of us. Hope you have a fab birthday tomorrow Pat
Above another Christmas card a bit different to what I have been doing, well you can't make them all the same can you. The deer stamp is an Elusive images stamp and I think the brush stroke tree is Penny Black. The letters were cut with the T/H alphabet die

Happy birthday Connor

Above eldest grandson's birthday card 16 today, was done from a CD I get lost now what to make as they get older and he always has one of those hats on his head soooooo  thought he would like it
Above is a card I made for a friend, the little girl is a Digi stamp, think she is cute
Finally I made the card above for a 10 min challenge on KC, you had to make a card in 10 mins or less, so I slapped 4 different shades of alcohol ink on the card and stamped the Chapel Road stamp with Versafine black ink and clear embossed. To be honest I was quite pleased with it, it turned out better than some I have spent hours on. Well that is my offering for now

This and that

I had some flowers sent that had a clock face, just loved them, the only thing is there are about 4 in the packet as it is a mixed lot. So the above is my version, I am sure most of us have a clock face stamp and a flower punch, this is the result. I cut down the petals a bit more so I could shape them better and will do the edges with ink but I don't think the look too bad
Above is my go at making my own ruler tissue paper as I think it quite pricey for what it is. I stuck a piece of tissue on a A4 sheet of double sided sticky, then stamped all over with my ruler stamps. Know I have some creases but not bothered as it is my first go. Below is some I have coloured with distress ink, tea dye I used. It will do for me
Below again is my latest Christmas card. I stamped this image a couple of years ago and never used it and for some reason it kept jumping in my face as if to say, colour me, colour me you might like me,,,,,,,,. Well I do she has a lovely face and am sure gonna do some more, hope you like her

It is nearly Christmas

Thought I better get cracking, don't want to be stressed like last year. The stamp above is Sugar Nellie, just love this little boy, coloured with pro markers and cut on my new Caliber I got off hubby for our Anniversary
I love the background paper I have used it looks as if it has snowed on it.
Above the snowman who could not love him, background paper I used is from a scrapbook paper album I bought cheep last year. Only paid £3 for it, I bet the vender wished she had kept it as apparently it is the 30th Anniversary next year and they reckon there will be snowmen everywhere I am pleased I have got my stamps.
Below another snowman and the holly in the top corner looks as if it is on acetate when you heat is with your heat gun you can shape it as it softens, think it is quite cool

Steam punk

My version of Steam-punk. The stamps are by Kan-ban and I just loved them when I saw them, not normally my type so don't know why I took such a shine to them. The background papers are from there too. The flowers I got of one of my friends in the USA and the cogs were cut with my sizzix die. I do like the images on the top card best but the one on the card below is quite nice too. I cut the bottom card with my big dies made by Spell binder. Love these would like another couple but will have to save up first
